NexLaw is involved in the protection of intellectual property rights for and on behalf of clients. It is handling applications for registration and renewal of trademarks and patents, including contentious and non-Contentious work, such as licensing and franchising, trademark infringement, passing off and prosecution. NexLaw also provides services such as drafting and review of technology transfer.
NexLaw also provides services such as drafting and review of technology transfer agreements, copyright litigation and licensing, domain names and website protection and eCommerce transactions and disputes.

Banking
NexLaw is involved in project financing, property and housing finance, debt restructuring and other forms of corporate finance (including large scale syndicated lending transactions). NexLaw represents lenders, issuers, lead managers, borrowers and security agents / trustees on debt, syndicated loans, per-lending reviews, perfection of security documentation, recovery of non-performing loans, and general advisory on banking law and practice.

Company
NexLaw is actively involved in the incorporation of companies, securing business licenses, processing registration of companies with relevant regulatory authorities including Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA) and Tax Revenues Authority (TRA). We also provide company secretarial services, risk management and compliance, winding up and dissolution of companies both voluntary and by the Court
NexLaw provides services touching on competition and anti dumping law, due diligence, application of certificate of incentives, investment feasibility studies, joint ventures and initial public offering (IPO).

Taxation
NexLaw is actively involved in the provision of services in tax and taxation issues such as advisory services, due diligence and tax audit for purposes of minimizing the risk of tax non-compliance. The firm is also involved in tax litigation. In a bid to fully serve our clients in this area, our firm has good relationship with a number of accounting firms, whose expertise may be utilized as and when required.

Employment and Immigration Law
NexLaw provides advisory services on employment law and labour relations, retrenchment procedures and practice; it is also involved in drafting and review of contracts of employment, employment manuals handbooks and negotiating collective bargaining/voluntary agreements on behalf of clients. Conveyancing & Land Law
NexLaw have a dedicated team of conveyancing lawyers and advisers. We advice on all matters relating to land law and conveyancing including commercial and residential conveyance, land acquisition and transfers, development of commercial and residential complexes (including flats and housing estates), joint ventures in real estate development, property finance, environmental and planning matters, extension of government leases, subdivision and amalgamation.. 
IT and Communication Technology

NexLaw is also involved in matters, relating to IT and communication law and compliance where we provides a number of services, including but not limited to; processing the formation and licensing of communication companies, advising on the regulatory framework in Tanzania, and compliance matters as presented by TCRA and other regulations from time to time. We are also involved in litigation of IT.

Insurance
NexLaw offers a wide range of services on insurance and reinsurance. NexLaw is actively involved in handling all matters relating securities and share transfers for both foreign shareholders and local shareholders. We provide advice on compliance requirement with Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) and Capital Market and Securities Authorities (CMSA)

Energy and Mining
NexLaw offers a wide range of legal services in the energy, oil and gas and mining industry. We provide consultancy and assist clients in all matters pertaining to the development and financing of oil, gas, and mining operations. NexLaw has expertise in construction law and regulatory system in Tanzania.
