Dr Saudin Jacob Mwakaje together with
others founded the firm. Mr. Mwakaje is an advocate of the High Court of
Tanzania. He holds LL.B (Hons), LL.M (Dar), LLM in Intellectual Property,
Commerce and Technology (Franklin Pierce Law Centre, USA), and PhD (Dar). His
special areas of expertise are in the intellectual property law, investment
law, international trade law, corporate law, and E-Commerce law. Mr. Mwakaje is
also involved in general litigation and arbitration proceedings. Before being
involved in the founding of the NexLaw Advocates, Mr. Mwakaje was a partner at
Abenry & Company Advocates and was involved in a number of projects
including the Project on the Due Diligence and the Initial Public Offering
(IPO).
Dr. Mwakaje is a seasoned local and international legal
adviser; he has been a consultant and legal adviser in several local and international projects.
